Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

  • Listing — adding a new cryptocurrency or trading pair to an exchange.
  • Delisting — removing an asset from trading. Exchanges publish official announcements about such events, which we collect on this page.

Currently we track listing and delisting announcements on the following exchanges: Binance, Bybit, OKX, MEXC, Gate.com and BingX. You can filter the data by a specific exchange using the menu at the top of the page.

You can do this by clicking on the message title. The exchange website will open with the announcement you are interested in, the text of which usually specifies the exact time or other approximate timing of the event.

New listings are often accompanied by increased volatility and can provide trading opportunities. Delistings are important to track in order to close positions in time and avoid forced closure at an unfavorable rate.

MEXC publishes listing and delisting announcements in the MEXC announcements section.

Since April 2026, MEXC uses a two-tier verification system:

  • AI analysis: automatic verification of on-chain data, smart contracts and project metrics
  • Manual expertise: evaluation of the whitepaper for logical contradictions, verification of the team and partners, analysis of community activity
  • Marketing audit: assessment of the marketing strategy and potential risks
To submit an application, you can use the token listing application form.

ST Warning is a warning system that MEXC issues to projects when risks are detected. A project receives ST status when:

  • Price drop: below 10% of the initial listing price or more than 60% in the first 3 days
  • Low liquidity: fewer than 100 users hold tokens worth >$5, average holdings volume <50,000 USDT over 30 days
  • Spread problems: buy-sell spread >2% for 15 days
  • Security: smart contract vulnerabilities, technical failures
  • Team: legal violations by founders, team unavailable for more than 2 weeks
Read more in the official ST Warning rules.

Main reasons for delisting:

  • Team problems: fraud, market manipulation, unavailability of key participants for more than 2 weeks
  • Low trading volumes: daily volume <5 BTC, fewer than 50 trades per day over a week
  • Security: smart contract vulnerabilities, 51% attack risk, refusal to pay the security deposit
  • Legal risks: violations of regulatory requirements (SEC, etc.)
  • Lack of activity: website shutdown, social media inactivity, mass complaints without improvement

The delisting process includes:

  • Announcement: MEXC publishes an official notice with the delisting date
  • Deposit block: topping up the delisted token stops immediately after the announcement
  • Withdrawal period: users are given 30 days to withdraw assets
  • Trading closure: trading pairs are removed on the specified date
Important: if funds are not withdrawn within 30 days, further withdrawal is at your own risk.

Meme+ is a special section for meme tokens with:

  • Simplified listing: fast addition of new trending tokens
  • Higher delisting risk: frequent removals due to low liquidity or activity
  • Separate monitoring: special ST Warning rules
Tokens from the Meme+ zone are delisted more often than main assets, so traders should carefully monitor announcements.

During the withdrawal period (30 days):

  • Trading of the token is stopped
  • Deposits are blocked
  • Withdrawal is available — you can withdraw tokens to an external wallet or another exchange

After 30 days:

  • Withdrawal may become impossible or be at your own risk
  • MEXC does not guarantee the safety of assets after the withdrawal period expires

Tip: it is better to withdraw tokens yourself before the end of the 30-day period.
